Is there a Compact Flash, embedded hardware, or Soekris or WRAP version of pfSense?

Yes! There is one combined image for WRAP, Soekris, and all other CF platforms. You can find the embedded image on our download page on the website. For information on installing the images you find a tutorial in our tutorials section. With current versions you now can upgrade the firmware via the webGUI as well. The same upgrade file can now be applied to both full and embedded installations.

Note that these images strictly use the serial console, so even if you have an embedded device with VGA, it will not use the VGA display. This will make it look like the boot "hangs", but what it really does is switch over to serial console since the majority of embedded hardware used with pfSense does not have a VGA console.
