How can I get a feature added?

There are several ways to influence the development of pfSense.

  1. Write the functionality you are looking for and submit patches (contact coreteam@pfsense.org for info).
  2. Make a suggestion on the mailing list or forum.
  3. If you are willing to fund the development on a consulting basis, contact pfSense's commercial arm, BSD Perimeter.
  4. Start a bounty on the forum.
  5. If you are a commercial support subscriber, submit a ticket with your feature request. Though we cannot promise any specific request will be fulfilled, requests from customers receive much more attention from the developers.
